Mystical Red Aces
The Magician displays the top card - a Red Ace - this card is placed on the table.
The bottom card is displayed - it's also a Red Ace, this card is also 'tabled'.
The Magician shuffles and cuts the deck. He then deals himself two cards.
His two cards are turned over - revealing the same two Red Aces ? ? !
"May we examine your cards ? " - asks the magician.
The spectator turns over his cards and finds - two Black Queens !!

Requirements :
Knowledge of the Double Lift and a new deck of cards.
Arrange the deck so :-
* Black Queen
* Red Ace -
* 48 cards
* Black Queen
* Red Ace.
Commence the trick with any story about the strange and almost mystical power of the Red Aces when brought together (don't say anything about switching the Aces - that would forewarn your spectators that a switch is coming ).
You continue " I'll try to demonstrate what I mean.... " (You now have their attention)
False cut or shuffle, double lift the top cards displaying the first Red Ace.
Continue with your little story "Ah, the Ace of Hearts, this Ace is said to inflame the passion of the beholder."
Turn the double face down and replace it on the top of the deck, immediately thumb over the top card (Black Queen) and deal it face down onto the table.
"Please place your hand on top of the Red Ace"
Turn the whole deck over showing the second Red Ace. Double lift and continue to display the Red Ace as you turn the deck back over - face down.
"The Ace of Diamonds, this Ace is said to increase the wealth of its beholder !"
Place the double face down on top of the deck and thumb over the top card (Black Queen). Ask your helper to remove their hand so that you may deal it on top of the previously tabled card.
Position check : you have dealt two cards onto the table (Black Queens) and you have two Red Aces on top of the deck.
False shuffle (retaining top stock) as you continue....
"The combined power of the two Red Aces will now be exserting their influence over deck, if you feel them getting hot please let me know"
"You have two cards so it is only fair that I also have two."
At this point you smartly deal off the two top cards (Red Aces).
"Let's see if the Red Aces had an influenced on my cards."
Turn over your two cards -"Amazing - I also have the two Red Aces !"
"I was rather hoping that I'd have two black cards."
(Your audience will probably believe that you meant Black Aces)
"We can't both have Red Aces"
"May we see the cards under your hand"
The spectator lifts their hand, revealing - two Black Queens ! !
